    The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo

    A mouse, a princess, a girl and a rat who wants revenge, all meet in the story. Something very bad happens to the mouse, Despereaux. I liked the character names in the story, because they were all made up.
    I would recommend this book to someone who likes to read about mice and adventures.

    Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo

    A girl finds a dog in a supermarket called Winn-Dixie. Her dad won’t let her keep the dog, but she meets a lot of people and helps them. You’ll have to read the book to find out the rest of this awesome story. I liked it when the dog trashes the supermarket. I recommend this book to someone who likes comedy and books about dogs.

    Holes by Louis Sachar

    A pair of stolen shoes fell out of the sky. The kid who finds them is sent to Camp Green Lake. The Camp is not what he expected. He digs holes all day and he soon finds treasure…I liked when they crashed the pick up truck into the hole. People who like survival and adventure stories would like this book.

    Holes by Louis Sachar

    A boy named Stanley Yelnats is arrested for being accused of stealing sneakers that fell from the sky. He is sent to Camp Green Lake and he has to dig holes. He is looking for treasure and there are poisonous lizards. I liked the solution of the story and the part where the truck crashes into a hole. I would recommend this story to people who like survival and adventure stories.

    This book is about Bobby the invisible kid. He went to bed one night. The next day he is invisible! His parents think it’s a joke until he touches them.I like this book because he puts us in the story.

    by Gail Carson Levine

    This book is about a girl who is embarassed about her looks.She likes the prince and can’t say it. Another girl is jealous of her singing and how she dresses.I like this book because it is fun to say fancy words and I like how it has challenging words and I like a challenging story! I would recommend this book to 4th and 5th graders who read good hard books, and adventures stories.

    The Rangers Apprentice Series
    By John Flanagan
    The Rangers Apprentice series is about a boy named Will and his master Halt. Will saves the battle master along with Halt. There are nine books in the series. I liked these books because Will saves a big land and thousands of people in it. Maybe even millions. I would recommend these books to 3rd to 8th grades who like adventurous books.

    Stone Fox
    Author: John Gardiner

    There was a boy named little Willy and his father won’t get out of bed! Willy meets a man named Stone Fox. Willy enters a race against stone fox.
    My favorite part is when Willy is in the race.
    I’ll recommend this book to a person that likes dogs.

    A Crooked Kind Of Perfect
    By Linda Urban

    This Book is about a girl named Zoë who loves to play the organ, but when she starts taking organ lesions everything goes wrong!
    My favorite part is when her dad got the perfectone D-60, and she got the dream to play at Carnegie Hall.
    I recommend this book to anyone who loves music and wants to be a famous musician when they grow up. I like this book because she struggles to be perfect in her preteen years.

    Ice wreck
    by Lucille recht penner

    I recommend Ice Wreck to a third grader that likes non fiction books about dogs. I like it because I like nonfiction books. Ice Wreck is especially sad because they have to shoot the dogs.

    The Invention of Hugo Cabret

    Brian Selznick

    This is a great book because it’s about a boy who has a hard life, because he has to fix clocks in a train station so no one finds out his uncle is dead. I would recommend this book to a person who likes a good mystery. I liked this book because it’s half pictures and half text.

    Tin Tin Cigars of the Pharaoh!
    By Leslie Lonsdale and Michael Turner

    In this book there is a lot of characters, but I’ll just tell you a couple. Tin Tin, Snowy, Dr. Sarcophagus, The Prince, The Princes Father, and The Fakir.

    In the book there are 2 guys that think Tin Tins bad and are trying to kill him!

    I think this is the best Tin Tin book they’ve ever made because people keep trying to kill him.
    That’s why I think this book should go to someone that likes comics.

    DIARY of a WIMPY KID RODRICK RULES

    By Jeff Kinney

    This book is about a kid in Middle school who has a lot of problems. He also has a big brother named Rodrick and this book is basically about him, and poor Greg he gets beat up a lot. Greg gets pushed in the back of Rodrick’s van. I liked this book because it is hilarious! People that like comedy would like this book.

    SURVIVING THE APPLEWHITES
    By: Stephanie S. Tolan
    This story is about a teenager that goes to a family’s house. The mom of the family did not give birth to him though. The part I liked in this story is when Jake has to wash all of the paint out of Destiny’s hair. I would recommend this book to fourth grade and up who like comedy.

    This is a book about a family who fosters puppies. When they meat Princess it is crazy! She is spoiled rotten! Can the Petersons change her or will she be spoiled for ever.I like when she started barking her head off. I would recommend this book to some one who likes dogs.

    This book is about a girl named word girl. She starts to throw meat.
    Word girl is fighting with the bucher. But I’m not going to give anything else away. Read first!
    I would recommend this book to someone that likes fighting.

    Jeff Kinny

    This book is about a boy, and his brother Rodrick. The boy writes in his diary about his life (hilarious) and his brother who is always playing pranks on him. And-well you’ll have to read the book to find out all of the funny going on’s. I would recommend this book to a 4th or 5th grader who likes comics.

    This is a book about a girl named Becky. The checkerton librarian accuses Becky of stealing the book Wizard of Oz. Her and her brother Toby try to find the culprit and clear Becky’s name. My favorite part of this book is when Becky and Toby sneak into the library after closing time. I would recommend this book to a third or fourth grader that likes mysteries.

    Henry and Mudge and the Careful Cousin

    This book is about Henry’s cousin Annie coming to visit. Annie is afraid at Henry’s dog Mudge.
    I like this book because they play Frisbee and it’s funny. This is a good book for 5th Graders to read to younger kids.

    Rick Riordan

    This book is about a boy named Percy Jackson, who is Poseidon’s (Also known as Neptune) son. He has been attacked by many monsters many times. My favorite part is when Percy gets Riptide a sword, disguised as a ball point pen. I would recommend this book to any one who likes learning about ancient gods.

    This book is about Bobby who turns invisible. He turns invisible by his electric blanket. When he woke up he took a shower and looked in the mirror. He finds that he is invisible. He wants to be normal and tells his mom and dad what happened. I like this book because he does many things invisible and walks to places he was not supposed to when he is invisible. I recommend this book to people who like mysteries.

    Diary of a Wimpy Kid
    Jeff Kinney

    This book is about a boy who has a diary and he gets bullied and picked on a lot, but his brother Roderick mostly picks him on. He gets blamed a lot by his little brother Manny. He writes everything that happens in his life down in his diary. I would recommend this book to kids who like comedies. I personally liked this book because it was funny and it has good description.

    Hit and Run
    R.L. Stine

    This story is about four teenagers that are about to get their driver’s licenses that like to drive Scott’s dad’s car and drive around a highway that no one goes on. While Eddie, Scott, Cassie and Winks went out to drive one night, a strange man was in front of the car and they hit the man. They ran after they hit the man. Later on in the book, the man comes back to life after he got killed to haunt the teenagers. He also threatens to kill the teenagers. In the end it became a joke. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes an adventure, a mystery and a good chill down your back.

    Author: Stephanie. S. Tolan

    This book is about a twelve-year-old girl named charley. Her mom died when she was ten. She hurt her leg, so she takes a walk every day to help heal it. One day she finds a dog and she watches it every day. Then she feels that she is back in her mom’s arms again. I loved this book because I believe when you die you soul goes to an animals body. I would suggest this book to anyone how believes that when you die your soul goes in an animals body.

    The Janitor’s Boy
    Andrew Clements

    This book is about a boy who is mad at the head custodian
    (janitor) .One day he chews 13 pieces of gum. Then he puts it on a desk and a chair. I liked the whole entire story. I recommend it to kids that like somewhat mysteries and stories about kids that get in trouble.

    The Invention of Hugo Cabret
    By:Brian Selznick

    Hugo Cabret has gone through many painful sorrows in his life. First, his father pasts away when the museum he was working in caught fire mysteriously. He goes to live with his uncle in the train station. When one night his uncle goes missing, Hugo wonders what happened to him. What happens is, Hugo is only to find out, that his uncle committed suicide by drowning himself in the river.

    I liked how Hugo tries to renew the automaton that caused his fathers death. Soon, Hugo is found in his hiding spot {The Time Keeper’s Cabin}.

    I would recommend this book to people who love to read mysteries.

    Title: Allie Finkle Rules For Girls Moving Day

    Author: Meg Cabot

    This book is about a girl her name is Allie Finkle. What she does is she makes her own rules, and she has to follow them. Also, she has to move but she doesn’t want to, so she is trying everything she can so she doesn’t have to move. I like this story because it is funny and it shows how much she wants to keep her old house. Also I like this story because I had to move and give up my old house and friends. I would suggest this book to people who like stories about leaving their old friends, houses and schools and finding new ones and having a happy ending.

    This is a book about a dog that gets kidnapped by a gardner because the dog is a husky worth a lot of money. My favorite part is when the dog gets mad and unleashes all his wild potential. I would recommend this to a teacher.

    In this book India opal Buloni goes to the store for eggs and juice ,instead she brings home a dog. My favorite part of all of this book is when theres a storm, my other is when India goes to Winidxxie . Windixxie is a store that she goes to every day. Anyhow the manager in there because the dog is in there. She takes it even though it isn’t her dog. Now it is your job to help read the passage to finish this big huge PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My name is Izzy I recommend Despereaux because it is funny its sweet and if you like mice rats and princesses you should read Despereaux. It is about a mouse who is very different and his name is Despereaux. The book is divided in to four books and as you go on it goes farther back in time so you should read the tale of Despereaux. I did and now I can’t stop reading it over and over and over again.

    It is a really good book. It is a book about fighting killing and sadness. It has a little boy a girl and slaves plus witches and goblins and wizards. So there are magical people. My favorite part was when pokes attacked a small little girl.
    I would recommend it for fifth, sixth and seventh graders who like magical stories.

    The PUPPY place is about a dog and his name is flash. He goes on a adventure and he has an owner and he is happy. The owner feeds flash. I like when flash was being nice to the owner also I like when flash has a dog friend and the owner plays with the dogs. The owner is happy. I think this book is for a 3rd grader in Mrs. Young’s class and the other 3rd.

    Because of winn dixie is about a girl, a dog , and a super market called Winn Dixie . Near the beginning
    the dog was a stray, and was running through the super market making a mess. In the middle she meets the Dueberry boys, and in the end something fun happens. I would recommend this book to someone who likes trouble!

    Byron and Kenny are the main characters. They live in Flint Michigan. Byron is acting up so Wilonia is their mother. She goes and brings them to Birmingham, Alabama where Grandma Sands lives. Then something extraordinary happened to Kenny’s life. I recommend this book because if you like a little mystery and funny stuff then you should read this book.

    This book is about a girl named Kaity. Shes trying to save paper. when she walked in a store she saw a girl wraping presents. So Kaity told herself that that girl was wasting alot of paper just by wraping presents. So read the book to find-out what happens next! I liked this book because katie gets hersef into alot of trouble!I would recomend this book to someone who likes trouble!:)

    This book is about a couple who are very mean. They also have monkeys called the Muggle Wumps. They live in a dongon type house. Read the book to find out what happens next!
    I liked this book because the Twits kept Torturing each other back and forth. I would recommend this book to someone who likes comedy.

    Code Orange is about a boy named Mitty Blake who lives in New York, New York. Mitty must choose a topic for a report, which is due on February 18th. Mitty chooses the disease smallpox for his topic, and someone in New York City may be spreading the disease smallpox across the city.
    I like this book because I am interested in Science Fiction and Mystery.
    I would recommend this book to people are also interested in Science Fiction and Mystery, and to people age 9 and up.
