  1. Wonder Struck By: Brian Selznick

The book Wonder Struck is a very suspenseful book with a boy in the 70’s whose mom dies and he gets struck by lightning. And a girl in the 20’s who is completely deaf. The boy travels to NYC to find out more about his father while the little girl grows older. In 1977 they meet in a book store when they figure out they have a little bit more then being deaf in common. I love when the boy and the girl meet they have a look in there eyes when they finally figure out what they have in common.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves suspense, and the harsh reality that everything happens for a reason.

  2. I loved Wonderstruck too! I am going to have to take a closer look at the pages when the boy and girl meet. You are so right – Selznick shows so much expression and emotion in his drawings – the book is a work of art!
